It’s about time for Rock and Roll to fight back. In the blue corner is Austyn Brown.

Growing up in a time when guitar music was cool, Brown has a design on bringing this culture back to Great Britain. His influences stretch a wide spectrum - from The Beatles to Neil Young, Stevie Ray Vaughn to Oasis – so trying to pigeon hole the music is difficult, but there in lies the beauty.

After playing lead guitar in a well known band for several years, Brown decided it was about time he did something with his own material. Lifelong friend and musical cohort Dan K was brought on board to play guitar and work began. In early 2010, a chance meeting at a gig led to the talents of DHS and Phil coming on board and things have never sounded better.

Brown’s song writing draws on all of his musical influences, mixing them with a vintage tone and flavour that is missing from the modern day scene. Add to that a perfect line up of some of the South’s major talents, and you have one hell of a band.
